These terms set out the conditions for using the timeline service and article content provided by Same Era, Different Worlds (the "Site"). By using the Site you are deemed to have agreed to what follows.

The Site is a free service for study and general interest that compares events in Korean, world, and Christian history era by era. Anyone may use it without registering.
2. Accuracy of content and disclaimer
The timeline and the articles are study references, summarized and rearranged from sources such as the National Institute of Korean History's Woorihistory.net and the South Korean high school world history curriculum. Interpretations of historical fact may differ between sources and schools of thought, and the Site offers no legal warranty as to their accuracy or completeness. The operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of the information on the Site. For purposes where accuracy matters, such as academic citation or exam preparation, please check the original sources as well.
3. Copyright
Unless otherwise noted, copyright in the text, design, and code published on the Site belongs to the operator. Copyright in the original sources (such as the National Institute of Korean History's Woorihistory.net) belongs to the institutions concerned, and the Site quotes them in summarized, rearranged form for study and commentary. If you wish to reproduce or redistribute the Site's content commercially, beyond personal study and reading, please contact us in advance.
4. Advertising
The Site may carry third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to cover operating costs such as servers and domains. For cookies and personal information handling related to advertising, please see the privacy policy.
5. External links
The Site may include links to external sites for reference. The Site is not responsible for the content or policies of those external sites.
6. Restrictions on use
Automated bulk crawling that interferes with the normal operation of the Site, acts that disrupt the service, and unauthorized appropriation of content may be restricted.
